Jencen Architecture Announces Principal Promotions

Retail Design Leader Proudly Recognizes Firm Leadership

April 16, 2015 – Cleveland, OH – Leading international retail architecture and design firm Jencen Architecture announces the promotions of Juleen Russell and Christina Tayman to Principal. “We are proud to recognize the significant accomplishments of these key team members. Juleen and Christina have been central to the growth and success of our firm through their commitment to design excellence and client relationships. Juleen Russell, AIA
Juleen Russell joined the firm in 1990. With a focus on brand strategy, she has been an integral contributor to a wide range of projects from specialty boutiques to big-box chains, including the firm’s award-winning designs, most recently the Papyrus store in Toronto’s Yorkdale Center. In addition to being a licensed Architect, she is the Marketing and Business Development Director for the firm where she has been instrumental in furthering Jencen’s existing relationships and cultivating opportunities domestically and internationally. Juleen has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture Design from Clemson University. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects and serves on the City of Lakewood Animal and Safety and Welfare Board, the Carlyle on the Lake Design Oversight Committee, and is the Marketing and Public Relations Chair for Berea Animal Rescue Friends.

 

 

Christina Tayman, AIA
Christina joined the firm in 2004. Through hard work, dedication, and deference for the profession, her career quickly flourished from Intern Architect to a pivotal role of licensed Architect. Christina’s credentials in accessibility design and standards are essential to the firm’s practice. She holds vital oversight roles in managing the firm’s fast-paced retail design-focused project schedule. In her role as principal, she will further Jencen’s reputation as a leading consultant for retailers worldwide. Christina has a Bachelor of Architecture from Kent State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects, National Council of Architecture Registration Boards, and International Code Council and she sits on the Midtown Cleveland Young Professionals Committee.
