Jencen design team members Alissa Adler and Susan Abdeldayem returned from the 2022 International Retail Design Conference (IRDC) feeling excited and inspired! The IRDC is an annual educational and networking event for the store design and visual merchandising communities.
The two-day event highlights include a session with Jeni Britton, founder of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, on creating a truly unforgettable experience for your customers. Alissa and Susan agreed it was unforgettable meeting Jeni! To get the creative juices flowing, the team attended the annual Iron Merchant Challenge – it’s a mashup of improvisation, creativity, and design science. They also participated in 2 energizing workshops. Finally, leaving the conference rooms behind, Alissa and Susan joined the popular IRDC Retail Inspiration Walking Tour. Notable walking tour highlights from the Columbus, Ohio Short North Arts District include On Paper, TENSPACE, and FERA.
